Inspired by Skunkie's video on the dreadful A12 measurements, I thought about sharing some FFT plots of amps I'm measured. No harm intended but price does not guarantee performance. Any interest? I don't want to cause trouble, more a, geez, $10k doesn't always deliver what you expect kind of thing. No naming of products, etc.

Wow!!! lol
Thanks.
From 2013, these are two phono stages, one retailing for $10k and the other a $79 Boozhound Labs kit using JFET's and a LiPo battery. Shortly after I supplied the measurements to the manufacturer, he purchased some appropriate test gear and in the years since, it's become a much better product. At the time I was horrified someone could be selling such an expensive product without knowing how it actually performed, especially in the noise department, which is, of course paramount with a phono stage.
I still use the BHL phono stage in my upstairs system. I did have to build a new power supply this year, I forgot to shut it off and nuked the batteries. I think it sounds even better now.
These are just screen shots of the analyzer, same setup for both.
Bring it :) And honestly, feel free to name them too. I think people are smart enough to understand measurements aren't everything but they do contribute something to what we hear.
