What are the required punch sizes for 4 pin, 8 pin and 9 pin sockets? Also, any recommended sources. All I seem to find are for electrical conduit work.
You can take a look for “radio chassis punch“ on eBay. I prefer a vintage Greenlee brand which are great quality. Some unused even at 50yrs old or so. I have had good luck with the “make an offer” listings
3/4"/19mm should work for a 9 pin (I think the one I have is an oddball 18.4mm) but also depends on the sockets you are using. For the larger sockets I use a 1 3/16" And I believe mine are just plain Greenlee types likely made for electrical box work.

Okay. Guess I don’t have it figured out.
Any recommendations for chassis punch sizes?
Think I figured it out. Ordered 3/4” and 1 1/16”.
