Hi. So Ive been following the videos on YouTube and am interested in modifying my A10. Is there a BOM yet for this? Also how much different is modding the A10. I had been running my A10 with adapters in front. My unit is all point to point and has the upgraded power supply they offered at time. if this been answered I apologize.

I just finished my A10 to A12 plus Skunkie Design mods. I only have a short time on it but it sounds great. Much better base and volume like everyone says. I changed over to the Tung-Sol 5AR4 and EL34's with Mullard 12AX7s. I recommend just redoing all the driver socket wiring and re-twist the heater wires then run them across the socket v. making a loop around. Also - the BOM I downloaded didn't include the bleeder resistor (see ~15:20 in Mods Video #2). Cheers!
Two 1K resistors = 500ohm. The mod to a 250ohm runs more current through the EL 34 tube, cleaning up the distortion.
My A10 is a little deferent. It has 2, 1K resistors in parallel with a 220uf/63v cap coming off pin 1-8, of the EL34 to ground. I’m thinking the Mods would give a much larger voltage swing across the EL34 Tube. Is my thinking correct? I’m trying to learn as I go.
https://www.skunkiedesigns.com/a12-mods The A10 has slightly a different driver tube pinout, but these should work equally well, just make sure you follow that amps pinout. You could also rewire to socket to use a 12AX7 without an adapter if you always use 12AX7 tubes.
