GE 6V6G ST style NOS tubes.

I'm just curious do you know if these tubes would be a good replacement for EL34 tubes I have in my

BOYUURANGE Reisong A12 EL34 12AX7 (ECC83) Stereo Single-end Class - A Tube Amplifier?

I'm just hoping these GE 6V6G ST tubes would give me a warmer sound or different sound to the EL 34 tubes. I've had the amp for about 4 months and not impressed yet.

Seems to sound better with cds than vinyl. I'm running the Luxman DZ 120 CD player directly into the A12 and my turntables through my Sansui AU 7900 using it as a pre amp.

I used a pair of 6V6 tubes in this amp, with the 8ohm speakers connected to the 4 ohm taps and got less distortion but it did lose a little bass.

Got the tubes today, the seller John was a great guy to chat audio gear with. I've been playing the amp all day,looks and sounds great and nothing has blown up yet, lol.
