The aluminum plate is 3/8" thick. First I traced the layout with a center punch and flipped the layout for a mirrored layout. I use carbide hole drill- one like photo. After all drilling are done I sanded the edges and top of plate with orbital sander. The sanding in quick, no need to go gentle with the sander. Finished with a clear metal protacttion coat.

The 2 chokes are mounted under the aluminum plate.

I see now! This is a beautiful build. So this is identical to the 300b budget build just one channel in each chassis correct?

If you were to have an output transformer custom make for this amp. What would be a good compromise specs? I am guessing somewhere between 3.5k - 5k and 20w.

@johnny3988 3.5K would give a bit more power but have higher distortion than a 5K would. 20-25W is a good size to shoot for.

I like that they're mirror images. Very nice layout work.
