Here is my DIY 300B amp I just finished. It was originally based off the common Sun Audio/JC Morrison but then I redesigned it as a cascode to get more clean power out of it. All of the iron was repurposed from an earlier "Blueglow KT88" amp I built. It sounds amazing!
That’s an impressive build! Redesigning the amp as a cascode for cleaner power was a smart move. The fact that you repurposed the iron from your Blueglow KT88 shows real ingenuity and resourcefulness. I bet the sound quality is top-notch with those 300B tubes! That’s a nice Amp. I would love to build the 300B you designed. The problem I have is, I have to many hobbies. Cars, wood working. Side x Side riding, an that’s just the start lol. I guess I can start getting the parts together a little at a time without my wife throwing a Fit lol. Love your Channel, it may take a little while, but your going to do very well at this. I’ve been self employed, an in business my whole life. I know success when I see it. There’s no substitute for HARD work. Stay Safe out there !
