Had a chassis and parts - got bored so I wanted to try a Tube recetified Zen-And have a preference for 5AR4 tubes- with a low part count it makes for a quick build- Dead quiet- Sounds great! Not sure how the Decware is running the 2 milliamp meters full time - but don't like the idea of being on all the time and in the circuit - I have a simple volt meter wired with a center off and can check either output tube - getting almost 10vdc off of each cathode resistor-resistor is 300ohms so 10v puts me at 33ma so Iam biased at 93%. Just what I needed yet another amp!!!

How would you say this compares to your SS rectified Zen and the SEP spudamp?
Very nice!
finished- just put clear silicone on rca cable to keep secured- the only thing I will change is running the ground from the ac power right to it's own stand off and off of star ground. Was a very fast easy build.
Sounds great - still need to test the Freq response and THD - and see if measures any different than the solid state diode one I built.
Here are my voltages if anyone else decides to build one of these
